On the 28th & 29th June 2025, I taught the 3rd Kyūsho-jutsu Gokui (急所術極意 - Vital Points Secrets) Seminar in Paris.

During the seminar we covered the Kyūsho (急所) points, their applications and medical implications as found within the Takagi Yōshin-ryū Jūtaijutsu (高木揚心流柔体術) Shoden Omote Gata (初伝表型).

The seminar question was - "do the striking techniques fascilitate the tecniques, or do the techniques fasciltate the striking tecniques ?"

When all of the technical considerations found in the Japanese text and the medical implications of the strikes were examined, it was obvious that the Takagi Yōshin-ryū approach is very effective and the techiques could be very dangerous for any potential attacker.
